Q. 100. What does the preface of the Lord's prayer teach us?
A. The preface of the Lord's prayer, which is, “Our Father which art in heaven”, teaches us to draw near to God with all holy reverence and confidence, as children to a father able and ready to help us; and that we should pray with and for others.

Close your prayer time with the Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day
our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever. Amen.
